Choosing where to host an event of any kind may be one of the most important decisions. After all, the venue sets not only, the backdrop for the event, but also solidifies the date. Not to mention, the earlier you can start looking at venues, the better chance you’ll have of finding the perfect one.
Booking your ideal venue can be a tedious process so let’s walk through a few of the popular venues in Natrona County today.
In addition to venue availability and cost also comes the capacity that a venue can hold. Remember to consider how many guests you plan on having. If you are planning a larger event (200+ attendees) and want it to be indoors, check out the Ramkota Hotel & Convention Centre, The Hangar, the Ford Wyoming Center, or The Lyric. Many of these venues are full service or have the capability to become full service.

If you are looking for a smaller indoor event (50 – 150 attendees), look at Occasions by Cory, The Hall on Ash, The Tate Pumphouse Trail Center, The Wolcott Galleria, The Hogadon Ski Lodge, The Nicolaysen Art Museum, The Hilton Garden Inn, The Casper Country Club, and the Holiday Inn Casper East – McMurry Park. While these venues are on the smaller side, they are either full service or can become full service.

For more intimate indoor events (1 – 50 attendees), investigate Fort Caspar Campground, The Hampton Inn, and of course Casper College. Although these venues aren’t full service, they allow you to fully customize your event.
When it comes to hosting an event of any kind outside, we all know the Wyoming weather is a force to be reckoned with and is super unpredictable. However, I have attended many weddings outside that were done beautifully. If you are interested in an outdoor venue, check out any of the beautiful city parks, Three Crowns Golf Course, Paradise Valley Country Club, Ayres Natural Bridge, Red Butte Ranch, and the Trout on Inn.

Please note that when it comes to hosting any type of special event at a hotel/conference-based venue, it’s in your best interest to check with the venue about other events or ceremonies that could be happening on the same day.
I am always happy to chat about venues, so feel free to send me a note and I can answer any questions for you. Also, don’t forget to book your photographer early! ;-)
Be married my friends!
